As expected, No. 1-seed Smith got off to a quick start in its first-round match-up with eight-seed Love. Kyle Richardson picked up the win while going a perfect 4-for-4 at the dish for the Romans.
FINAL: Whitestown 5, Roberts 0
Whitestown used another solid pitching performance from SUNY Cortland sophomore-to-be Mike Mahay on its way to a first-round triumph over Roberts.
FINAL: Adrean 4, Utica 3 (8 innings)
Trailing 3-2 entering the bottom of the seventh, Utica rallied to tie it up and force extras, but would fall after allowing a run in eighth.
FINAL: New Hartford 3, Sherrill 1
New Hartford got out to an early 3-0 lead and held to take care of Sherrill.

Three out of four, nice going. I have to wonder if your pick of Sherril over your former team, New Hartford, was the stimulus that might have propelled them to victory? In any event, nice to see your objectivity. Look forward to your selections for tommorow's games.
