Due to some time constraints (story deadlines), I won't be able to blog live for this one. But, tonight's winners bracket final between Blue Division champion Smith and Gold Division champion New Hartford will be broadcast live on 1350 AM radio. So be sure to follow along with the action there with commentators Ed O'Brien and Brian Cornish.
UPDATE: Smith wins
Smith beat New Hartford 3-0 in a tight, well-played game. Garrett Baker threw a complete-game three-hitter for Smith, while walking three and hitting one batter.
Smith scored two runs in the bottom of the fourth and added another in fifth to advance to Saturday's championship round at 4 p.m at DeLutis Field. New Hartford will play Utica in Saturday's losers bracket final at 1 p.m. here at the same location.
